Yesterday my mom read a headline that Budweiser had announced that none of its holiday commercials will include the clysdales because they are trying to appeal to beer drinkers under 30. I said that a better choice to speak to drinkers under 30 is to make beer that tastes good.

In New Mexico there's chile beer, which after you get a taste for chiles is pretty good. This is kind of like the same thing except with a nasty gourd. So basically this is the same except it sucks.

Couldn't agree more. Most are just "pumpkin spice," which is a clever way of saying "we're putting in all the crappy overpowering spices and forgot to insert the pie part." Barf.

Plus, Oktoberfests are by far my favorite anymore unless I want something heavy, and these stupid trendy pumpkin beers are crowding out my favorite taps. GRR.
